Plot Synopsis

In order to fulfill her father's dream of becoming a champion, six-year-old Li Na joined the tennis team. The tennis genius shed sweat, blood and tears and began her unique road to success. The film is adapted from tennis player Li Na's autobiography " On the Court Alone ", telling the story of Li Na from her 6-year-old teenage years, her athlete period to her retirement. Through her growth, it shows the legendary life of the times. Because the film tells the story of Li Na over the past 30 years, the actors who play "Li Na" are divided into three different age groups: childhood version, teenage version and adult version, all played by newcomers. Zhang Xiner, a Chinese-American female tennis player born in 2002, plays the teenage Li Na. French actor Vincent Cassel, who starred in "Black Swan", plays Li Na's fourth coach, Argentine Carlos Rodriguez, and Hu Ge plays Li Na's husband Jiang Shan!
